Allergies?

All my life, I was never aware of being allergic to anything.  Nothing.  Nada.

But today, when I woke up from my nap, I started itching like crazy madness.  I couldn’t stop scratching.  Hives started breaking out all over my legs.  It’s disgusting.  Seriously.  Puffs of red everwhere.  This has never happened to me before, and I got really worried.  When the sister came home, I asked her where the medicated itchy cream was.  I showed her my legs, and she freaked out.  She gave me some of her itch relief pills instead.  I feel much better now.  Hopefully, the hives will go away, and the swelling will stop soon, because I have a wedding reception to go to on Sunday, and I do not want to look the way I look now.

I thought about everything I ate and anything that could possibly cause this nasty reaction.  I couldn’t think of anything except for the change of weather.  I never thought that cold weather could cause an allergic reaction, so I looked it up online, and it is true.  Cold air is the most likely cause of my allergic reaction.

Twenty-four years of life, and it all of a sudden happens now.  How strange…
